    hi all my g/f,s car failed the nct it needs two cv joints and a left front suspension i can get all parts handy on ebay.is this something i could do with basic tools in my driveway i am handy enough iv done service,s and fan belts and break pads so not scared to work on cars.her car is a 97 starlet so dont wana spend a fortune on it thats why im thinking of doing it my self any help and advice would be great cheers

    yes , you can, just get manual, read before, i believe those works been covered in internet in specific forums. download manual, or buy one.

    not easy, bit greasy, but possible.

    what you mention left suspension ?? you mean shock absorber? if that, then by the rules , you have to change both shock absorbers on one axle, or cheapest way, buy whole unit in scrapyard, and fit, just make sure it is not knackered.

    You'll need a ball joint separator and a spring compressor
