Sean Dunne has been given permission to develop his site in Ballsbridge.

Mind you, he has to keep all buildings at a reasonable height (12 storeys max as opposed to his mad plan for 37 stories) and the office block idea has been ditched. Not much call for that sort of thing nowadays.

Of course it's all moot as he hasn't got any money to develop it anyway. Looks like D4 Hotels could be there for another 10 years.

A victory for the much maligned residents of D4. :)
