I woke up this morning and saw that the remnants of a bottle of beer spilled on my laptop. There wasn't much there so I gave it a thorough wipe, however now the majority of keys are not working. Only about 4 letters are currently working. I'm afraid to turn it off because if I do I wont be able to bypass the password section when I reboot. Any suggestions? Thanks.

keyboards usually detach from most laptops, might be able to replace the keyboard

or take it apart and clean it

Don't start the laptop unless you are absolutely sure that no liquid has got onto the motherboard!! Otherwise you could blow the board!! You need to get it stripped down and dried out and then try it, it may already be too late and the damage is done but hopefully you will be lucky
