iTunes problem, HELP !!

    My itunes, 10.4 will not recognise any of the songs of cds i try to import.
    I have internet, i have the "automatically retrieve cd track names from internet" box ticked
    I need to put songs on an ipod by 4 this evening,
    help please
    Is this a problem with itunes 10.4
    Ive tried 4 separate computers all with 10.4, and ive used two different internet connections.....please help

    Did you sign in to the iTunes Store and 'authorise' the computer first?
