    Hi,

I am looking to get myself a Macbook charger (60 watt) as my old one has just packed in. have checked Peats and The Apple store, they are charging at roughly 70 euro and i am looking for a cheaper alternative. Either a 2nd hand charger or a compatible one. Does anyone know where i could get one? I am based in Dublin.
    Thanks in advance!

Bring the old one to an authorised Apple service provider. They may replace it for free, even outside of warranty.

Thanks for the reply lads....The reason i was against going online was because it was for my GF..She couldn't last without her Mac for the weekend! So we were praying to find somewhere in Dublin to purchase it as opposed to waiting for delivery!..We rang Mactivate (the official Apple dealer in Dublin apparently)..No chance of a free replacement. We Then tried Peats of parnell street, again no joy but according to the staff member we were the 5th customer looking for a mac charger that day!! After messing about for a while we eventually found one in Compu-B for 60 euro...Not ideal but sure desperate times!...Anyway...as i said thanks for the people who replied..Really appreciate the help!
