Waist Alterations?

Hey people, I got my pants off ASOS today and I love them. They fit everywhere grand... except my waist! :(

I mean my calves and thighs are grand, it's the perfect size but on the waist it's a bit of a tug of war to get them to close. Now I know the obvious is to return them but reasons for not mostly is if I go up a size the rest will be too big and will look odder. Damn my oddly proportioned body!

Is there anyway to make them a bit bigger? Like some secret tip? I would even alter them if that's a possibility, they're too nice to return/give up on. Any advice would be brilliant right about now!

You'll have to check the waistband to see if there's any extra material to allow you to let it out a bit. If there is then you should be able to adjust them. A quick google should throw up step by step instructions. Just bear in mind the old seam may still be visible when you move it, depends on the material.

If this isn't possible could you buy the next size up and then get the legs taken in?

Just wear them when they are wet. They will stretch.
