Getting Uk without a passport

    Is there anyway getting to Uk without a passport.
    Have been to the passport office and wont gimme a 3 day passport and its my 3rd passport im getting, 2 lost/damaged already

    Really need get there before next Friday, anyone any ideas

    I can travel from anywhere in Ireland north or south.

    The only ID i have is work ID

    You probably know this already but you can use a driving licence as appropriate ID.

    I'd be very weary of the work ID though.

    Other than for Ryanair (Pretty sure no one else) photo ID will do.

    Work ID is fine with Aerlingus & BMI anyway. I think easyjet too.

    a guy I know was able to travel to the uk with ryanair using a CIE ID card from Dublin Bus, however I think certain airlines require a passport.

    It's Ryanair that require the passport, nobody else does for flights to the UK
