Hi, dont know if this it the right place for this question but im looking to switch to 3 and they have unreal deals on the iPhone and the samsung smartphones, just wondering does iTunes work on your android, like is there any app that can bring it in and still have a proper i tunes, or is it only on apple devices.

I spent money last year when i was going travelling on an ipod touch and i have a lot of stuff on it? Is there any point even going for one of these fancy phones or will it just make my ipod obsolete?

itunes is really only for apple products, but i'm confused when you say "an app that can bring it in and still have a proper itunes" what do you mean by this? and when you say stuff, what stuff exactly? apps? music?

I mean, is there any app that can convert your itunes onto an android phone, but still have proper use of your itunes should you wish to buy new tunes, or that for another device? Does that make sense?
i mean music, films and apps:)

if your existing itunes library (either bought tunes or tunes you've ripped yourself) are a compatible format with the android phone (mp3 for example) then they'll work no problem, you just wont use itunes to put them on the phone. ditto for films. apps wont work, you'll have to download their android versions from the android market.

i'd only worry about itunes if you buy a lot of music from the itunes store. i never have so i'm no expert on copyright protection/DRM that itunes use (i think theres none?) but most android phones will be seen as an external drive on your computer, so just drag and drop your media.

someone with more experience with actually buying music from itunes will be along i'm sure to throw in their 2c.
