I know there's the mobile version of boards, but I don't like it.

Anyone know if there's a iphone app that I can browse boards with ?

That's an old thread. They've made changes.

As well as the mobile site, m.boards.ie
There is also the touchscreen site for iphones, androids etc, touch.boards.ie

Then there is generic apps like "TapATalk" and "IP.Board Communities" for viewing vbuletin threads.

Try them out and see what you like

Now that we have the touch site, I don't think there's any need for an app. But Conor/Ross did say a while ago that they had plans to do an iPhone app based on it.

Tbh I prefer the www to the touch site but that's just a preference I have.

It looks better yeah, as its the full version,
but its clumsy on the small screen, I much rather the touch and/or mobile site for speed

I tried the touch site once but very quickly returned to the m.boards version. I find it easiest to operate and navigate. The only problem with it is the quote a post function. It comes out extremely small. Also the fact user locations can't be seen and the names of those who thank a post. Small problems though.
I guess it's what you are used to that works

I use the IPB App for the Iphone which is fine except for the very annoying issue of when you try to access the site I get a "404" error.

If I go back to settings where I have my username and password saved for the site and delete the last character of my password and re-enter it before going back to the main screen I get in no problem!

The touch site annoys me for a few reasons.

For a start there's no "Reply All" options for PMs. And, unless I've missed it, there's no little icon to press to get you to your last viewed post in a thread.

It should do that automatically. Does for me anyway.
