Yep, there's a surcharge of about €7 a month though I think. It's worth it, the digital tv service is pretty crap

    Actually..

cheapest way is to get it WITH telephone and without digital TV
    20Mb ( I'm getting 14Mb most of the time )
    500GB cap
basic analog TV leaks along the cable :pac:
    €31 a month :D

and wasn't there a €50 off boardsie introductory offer ??

If you complain enough about how unfair the 7.75 charge is you may get it removed. Otherwise wait until your contract is up or there's a change in their T&C's and tell them you feel hard done by because you have to pay the charge and others dont and they may remove it. I did and now I only pay 25 euro a month for the broadband. And yes basic analog does leak ;) and as far as I know UPC have no plans to close down the basic analog when RTE does in 2013 :D
