FS mavic cosmic carbone SLR set

Thinking of selling off above wheels.
Seeing what interest there is on boards.
They're in very good condition.

Used only in dry conditions, no dings, dents, never crashed etc. Used as racing wheels and the odd flashy plod on the odd occasion we had sun!!

Braking surface is perfect. These have bladed carbon spokes which make them super aero. I was very surprised at durable they are too!

Shimano / SRAM free hub, wheel bags, tools.

Will throw in nearly new set Michelin pro3 set, conti long valve tubes, token uber light skewers.

These are pure speed wheels. Light & stiff.

With everything listed I would like to get closer to the €1,000.

I also see your side of things (buying second hand)

I would meet in the middle somewhere...

€850 wheels only (no tyres, no lightweight Ti skewers) incl rimstrips, tools, wheelbags I ll throw in (need to verify how many I have; at least 2) long valve conti tubes (10€ each to buy).

Skewers are 60€ a set , tyres 60€+ a set... €950 -ish for the lot..

Let me know if you'd like to see them / ride them.

In the meantime I have managed to secure a set of wheels on another thread.
In fairness I know you've got a great set that I'd love and a grand would almost be worth the comments on a Sunday morning spin, but my hands would be tied price wise.

Hey,

Downgrading reasons- not racing enough to warrant holding onto a pro level wheelset, could do a few things with the cash, these wheels are worth a lot of money to have sitting about and not being used!!

My €800 bottom price valuation is a steal I think on these wheels... I see most secondhand bits as being worth 'about' 50% retail...


I would be looking for €600 plus your wheels....

I'd estimate about 2,000 miles, summer 2010. So just over one year old.

I'm in baldoyle/ Sutton area, north Dublin.

Work gardiner street, D1 mon to fri. Rarely drive but let me know if it suits to view them in town- I can drive one day; or you can come view them / ride them in baldoyle...
