    Cork City has a fairly big skating scene so you should have no problem. Also, there are both an indoor and outdoor skateparks in the city centre :)

    The outdoor skatepark is next to Fitzgerald's Park, check the map here:

    I've seen a few people around town with longboards, but I'm not sure how easy/trouble-free it is. Some areas of pavement may not be up to it, but for the large part you should be OK.
