Ok, so I'm in China. I'll be heading home for a week next month.

Macbook air's are over 400euro cheaper in Hong Kong. 400 Euro! WTF Ireland!

Anyway, I was thinking of bringing a few back and selling them... I guess 200 Euro cheaper? I mean, if you wanted a brand new mac air, why wouldn't you want to save 200 Euro?

So, is this kosher? I'd stick em in my stowed luggage.... good for me, good fore you as they say in Thailand.

I'm sure there's probably some sort of duty thing? But if they're open, or i I pretend they're gifts?

    It defeats the purpose.

The type of people who want a Mac Book are the type of people who take a lot of pleasure spending as much as possible on brand when they can get what they need cheaper elsewhere with a different brand attached!

If anything you should ADD €200 to the price!

If you're buying from an Apple store, how could it not be kosher?

Classic China... ye, I was in one yesterday :D

I'm talking about Hong Kong, not mainland China, no fake apple stores in Hong Kong.

How would you know? From the looks of your username, you aren't even sure if the butcher shops are real or not!

Allow me to be a Buzz Killington for a second. You're liable for duty on them and if you make a profit selling them you should be paying tax on that income.

Was just an idea, maybe too much hassle.

As for loosing value after opening it... I'd have no problem saving 200 euro for a mac book if the box was open, I know there's those that would rather open the box themselves, never really understood this.
