I have a ford focus with standard radio. The power is coming on in radio and the radio is seeking but it won't pick up a channel. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Its a possibility that the aerial connection has come out the back of the player.

The holes at eitherside of the player allow the "Keys" to fit in and pull out the player.

You can use the end of welding rods if you cant find the keys.
