I've just started to after my morning shower. It feels great; nice and fresh. The powder keeps things dry. I use cornstarch powder. Anyone else?

Talc is pure old-school - I'd never think of using it, though with baggy pants being confined now to the halcyon years of my early 20's and the latest fashions in gentlemanly panteloonage tending towards the constrictive, it may be time to revisit the idea of ball powdering with an exhaustive appraisal and subsequent full and frank discussion with my apothecary.

I'd just point out that there are concerns about the health of using talcum powder.

It's not great for your skin and it's not great for your lungs either. It's just ground up rock!

Personally, I'd keep it away from the family jewels !

    Yes:

    NHS:
    http://www.nhs.uk/news/2008/09September/Pages/Talcumpowderrisk.aspx

    American Cancer Society:
    http://www.cancer.org/Cancer/CancerCauses/OtherCarcinogens/AtHome/talcum-powder-and-cancer

I would just think twice before applying any kind of chemicals to that region. Your testes contain germ cells, i.e. the cells that produce gametes (sperm). These are highly active and as such, tend to be more prone to cancers.

The skin's is also very prone to irritation and is very sensitive.

If you're sweaty, consider wearing better quality, non-elasticated, cotton underpants rather than trying to use talc or any other kind of deo / antiperspirant down there!

    It's just worth playing safe!
