Washer/Dryer not drying clothes

Haven't used the dryer in my washing machine much but since it's getting colder I'll want to use it more. Anyway, I tried a load today for 2 hours on the hottest setting and instead of drying, they came out hot but still wet. Is this usual with washer/dryer combos or could it be broken?

it's not condensing - either you have a blockage or cold water not entering machine (dryer solenoid)

Or maybe it's overloaded? Usually drying capacity half what the washing capacity is.
