Upgrade PC Ideas?

I have bought a Dell Vostro Slim Tower 200 Desktop.

It has a 18 inch flat screen and I intend to use it just for the internet and maybe as a jukebox and a little gaming just Football Manager maybe.

The processor is decent enough for my use its a core duo running at about 2.0GHZ with 2MB cache

It currently has 1GB RAM and I want to upgrade this to maybe 3GB as this is as much as a 32bit system can use I think?

Does this mean I have to buy 2 more 1gb sticks or have to buy 3 sticks and replace them all.

Plus is it easy to install RAM? I had a look on youtube and it seems very easy.

The limit is 4gb. It's easy enough just follow the guide on Youtube and you should be alright.

However be careful when you're getting your ram, Dell can be very picky about the ram you use and usually if it's not the exact same type of ram in each you're gonna have an angry motherboard. Go to http://www.elara.ie to check it out, they have a memory configurator which will tell you exactly what ram you should be getting. (Try stick to the same memory sizes aswell, not 512 + 1gb + 256 or anything like that, all 1gb preferably)

you can also check out Crucial.com and download their system scanner if you are not sure. It will do what it says on the tin and scan your system and tell you exactly what you can fit.

As Kantes says dells can be fussy. Keep all sizes the same.
