I got my new card today, my old card expired 9/11 and new one says it starts 10/11. Does this mean I can't use my new one until next month? Also would places I have it saved (Amazon.com, Paypal etc) automaticly update the expirey date or will I need to add new card?

You should be able to use your old card until the new one is enabled

Once your credit card company activate your card you should be able to used it regardless of start date. Regardless "Expires 9/11" means that it expires at the end of the month not the start (similar to motor tax).
