Met up with Tyson in Belfast yesterday and did a long video interview with him.

He is genuinely a really really nice guy and in boxing for the glory and well as the cash which is refreshing

Cracking interview. It had it all. About his Dad who is serving a sentence, the controversy about his claim to be Irish, difficulty getting opponents, The fight tha
t didnt happen with rogan and his opinion of his own opponent this Saturday. Ive sat through dozens of interviews but seriously slap, this one is brilliant. Keep them coming!

Really looking forward to going to this on Saturday night.

I heard Junior Witter's opponent had to pull out due to injury but can not find any info online about whether or not they are trying to find a replacement or scrapping the fight.

    Does anyone know?

The Board turned down COB as a replacement for Haughian the feckin pricks.

But he is likely to face Phill Fury now. Fingers crossed.

TBH the ref saved him from further punishment, although he wasn't fully cooked yet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 655 ✭✭✭marvsins

In fairness cracking action from a couple of 18st + guys.

I don't know, the way this fight was going Fury could have been on his back in the next round. He was near cooked earlier.

Ref should have let it go in my opinion.

I have to say I do love watching fury fight, purely from an entertainment point of view. He'll be knocked out by a decent fighter if he doesn't learn to use his height and keep his distance but it's great craic watching someone so big get involved in street fights and attempt upper cuts.

And also keep his guard up. Very open at times. I notice there was no showboating like in his fight against Derek Chisora.
