Cable Confusion?!!

    Hey all,
Ok, so I've moved to a new place and there are TV points in almost every room - there is also a big bunch of unconnected coaxial cables in the loft beside the cable that is connected (the one in the main living room).
This would be great for me, except none of the cables are labelled.
So... I'm wondering, is there any kind of device I can connect at one end and put another part on each of the cables to test which is which one by one? I tried using a TV, but between lugging it around the house and then up and down from the loft to see if it's working is starting to look like it'll take way more time than it's worth...!!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!! XD

Normally I would use a voltage checker. I twist the braid onto the core at one end of the satellite cable which you are trying to identify and then use the voltage checker at the other end by touching one terminal to the braid and the other to the core. When it lights up then you've found your cable. It's like making a simple mini circuit. Easy as pie and never let me down.

If you only have 1 tv, why do you care if the other cables are connected?
