New Forest, Moyvalley, Glasson, knightsbrook, Heritage.

All of above should bite your arm off, esp from October onwards.

Are you restricted to any particular day of the week? If you're flexible should get very reasonable prices midweek.
Knightbrook appear pretty much booked out for the Saturday's in October. I rang them trying to get our society of 16 out and they had very little slots available on any of the Saturdays. Booked in with Headfort New instead who were very accommodating rearranging a couple of slots to get us out together.

We always play on sundays. We have played the usual suspects, just wondered if one of the top courses had any deals for oct. Thanks for reply's

Alot of courses don't bring in their winter rates until November. I rang Killeen Castle and they were offering golf and a 3 course dinner for a staggering €125 in Oct while if in Nov they could offer golf and a 2 course dinner for a slightly more modest €75.
Carton House were similar for Oct, golf would be €70 or golf and dinner for €90. Hardly what I'd call a good deal.
Depending on where in the midlands you're based one recommendation I'd have is to play Palmerstown House, we played there at the start of Sept and was well impressed with the course layout and general condition. Was even considering going back playing again in Oct and they'd do golf plus a savage mixed grill for €49 on a Sat.

    Hi,

PM me if you are interested in playing Macreddin. I can do you a fantastic rate for most Sundays in October.

Played Macreddin earlier this month. A must play for all golfers. Take a buggy mind, under no circumstances walk the course. Stunning course, can't wait to go back there.

Try my club Rathcore if you like. It's in Meath. Lovely course and food is sumptuous. PM me if you want more detail or a contact name in the club.

Note the course stays playable very well in winter.

If you are going to make a full day of it maybe try playing both Headforts in one day. Courses are just outside Kells.

Have only played the New course, which was fantastic, up there with the best parklands in the country I reckon. I believe the Old course is also a nice trek, more of an old mature parkland feel?
