If it's a Jap Import less than €5 from any key cutters, if not around €100 from your local Toyota dealer as it will need to be coded for the immobiliser.

Most of the locksmith shops can do this nowadays.
You don't say where you are, but at least check the local locksmiths for a price before you talk to the main dealer.

I know a locksmith who wont cut a car key with an immob in it anymore. A particular one told me he wont do it as same faced lads were too frequent looking for them done and felt it would not be in his interest if somthing shady happened. He does have a point I guess.

Got new keyfob housing with a blank key on it, thought i could replace the blank key with old key one but blank key is part of the housing unit.

Will a lock smith be able to cut the key with keyfob housing still on the key?

It's a 01 yaris, so there's no electrical central locking or immobiliser.

Call in to any regular local locksmith, they should be able to help.

I am pretty sure that an '01 Yaris (not the jap-import Vitz) will have an immobiliser. The transponder is part of the key housing and there is an induction receiver around the steering column, beside the ignition barrell.
Also, even the Base model Yaris (Terra) came with central locking, which only operated from the key, ie. it is not remote central locking but still it is "central locking".
