What about starting with The Exorcist (original one)? "The scariest movie ever produced" is the typical sentence accompanying thismovie.
I think it's the most boring ever seen: nothing happens, just a priest walking&talking for 2 hours, and final interesting 10 minutes.

Let's continute with MadMax1 (Interceptor): another BBM (Big Boring Movie) :rolleyes:
Slow.
Pointless.
Useless.
Completely different from sequels (much better).

And finally, Moon: "the best Sci-Fi movie of last years".
Predictable.
Copied from several movies and series (Spaze 1999, 2001 space odissey, matrix, blade runner)
Ridiculous ending.
Why is it ever considered "best" I can't really understand!!

I will probably get attacked for this one but "THE KINGS SPEECH"
dont get me wrong some good performances and good production and direction , it is a good movie but the way critics and some people were fawning over it , it was nothing more than a period piece aimed for oscars , nothing more nothing less certainly wouldnt be in my Top 100 movies or anything like that.

these usually descend into "movies I just dont like and therefore are overrated" movie bashing. people buy into hype too much and judge movies on their press and word of mouth instead of on the finished article. One of the few movies I'd consider overrated is The Deer Hunter, its good, but I found it really dull for most of it.

in before the standard "it insists upon itself" gag thats been recycled about a billion times by people who cant come up with a better reason to dislike a movie other than Family Guy made a joke about it.
