Westwood - getting low joining fee?

    Hi
I've decided to join Westwood and just looking for advice on how to get the lowest joining fee. I was in the last day and they quoted €85 joining fee (plus the €75 per month). From what I gather the 75 is fixed but the joining fee seems to vary.
Anyone have suggestions on whether 85 is really the best deal or how i can negotiate down even more? If I get a member to refer me is it any cheaper? Or if I buy a membership from someone else (anyone selling?!)
    Thanks!

    Seems a good deal,
When I joined in April they wanted 500 entrance fee then the 75 a month.
After a laugh in the guys face he told me I could purchase another persons membership who,s was up... for 75.. and than the 75 a month.. seems a good deal to me. its a decent gym imo

My other half went up yesterday, they quoted him €400 joining fee for 2 adults & 2 kids.. he said not a hope , he would join up on the spot but would only pay €100 & that was it they could take it or leave it! So.. they took it.

Well worth saying you are prepared to join on the spot but at the right price!

Guy he was dealing with was called Luke.

Nobody pays the high joining fee, eighty euro or therabouts is usual

Nothing but standard selling tactics to quote a high fee and then tell you about their once in a lifetime, could get fired for telling you this, super duper, never to be repeated reduction on the joining fee.
There is a special campaign running there most weeks and if there isn't you just ask.

I used to think the joining fee was for administration. I was a member there, then left and then joined again and I could not get the joining fee waived. Did my best to get it waived but they were insistent.
    Now I don't know what it's for
