Hey all, just moved house and was wiring up a few boxes at home today, which I have many times before.

Was in attic with all boxes attached and checking which was where by the 15 or so volts heading up from the boxes to the loft.

At this point (unlike usual) I just went ahead and connected the sat dish straight away instead of turning the boxes off 1st at the wall?!? I got no sat being recieved on the this box which was weird?

I have one full working sky+ system in the other room so i detached signal 2 and again plugged it straight into the other cable for the other room and same problem :( but when I plugged that cable back to its original place on system 1 I now have lost the signal on line 2???

I have always in the past unplugged and then connected all wiring and then powered all boxes but in this occasion I didnt think, so am wondering could I have blown those 2 particular outs of the LNB by leaving the voltage coming up the cable and attahing and detaching etc.. could something of spiked??

    Any ideas would be great.....

    Cheers:o:o:o
