Temping question about JSB/JSA

If this has been asked and answered apologies, just trying to find an answer to this. And if this is the wrong forum, sorry again.

I was recently given 3 weeks temp work, mon-fri, 9-5. However it is looking likely that they may keep me on for a little longer. When I rang to suspend my dole for the 3 weeks temp work they said no problem, as long as it's under a month I just need to pop in with a letter from the employer stating the time I worked and the suspension on the dole will be lifted and I'll be able to claim again.

My question, if it goes longer than the 4 weeks the person I spoke to mentioned will getting the suspension lifted on my claim be a bigger hassle and maybe take longer or will I have to re-apply? I can't really go without some form of income for more than a week really, the temp work only pays slightly more than the dole.

I will ring during my break again on Monday, but if I can find an answer in the meantime that would be great.
