Iphone 3gs Stalls during system restore . .

    Hi,

    Been having more and more probs with my iphone recently.

    Basically I was unable to sync it and tried to do a restore and I couldntback up the phone (as it wouldnt sync, so I ended up doing a system restore through DFU mode and it started fine but its been stuck for over half an hour on a certain part (Apple logo, black screen and the progress bar complete about 15%).

    I read somewhere that it might be a hardware problem and some people mention about jailbroken phones (uninstall wifi sync) but the phone was actually opened to all networks after I finished the contract!

    Any Suggestions would be welcome.

    Have a look here, This should work. There are a couple of other things to try, but this one should be your first step.
