Yup just a straight swop and ring Sky to pair the card.
You may need to adjust the RF settings on the HD box if the existing Sky + was being used with TV distribution of Magic eyes etc....

Oh the card needs to be paired? I don't think she can ring em them as she is not the house owner, thats a balls :(

She only needs the card number and the account holders details to get it paired.
If the account holder is male then you do it.
Make sure you have the a/c's date of birth, phone number etc.. in case you're asked for it too.

If it's just the lower tier packs, then just bung your card in the new HD box and you're away.

However, if you want sports and movies, and the recording/live pause features, then I'm afraid You Will Have to ring sky.

Bit pointless having a Sky+ HD box and not utilising the recording,it doesn't matter who owns the house,it's the account holder with Sky that needs to ring and pair the card.Sky have gotten stricter with who rings them regarding customer accounts so it's best the actual account holder that makes the call-only takes a couple of minutes anyway.
