I left a topper down to the garage to get fixed 2 days ago with a Broken centre pulley. The fella rang me today and said that two bearings are gone as well.
I am fearing a bill upwards of 500 quid. (could be a lot of pulling and dragging)
Have already spent 1800 on this topper including purchase price.
Bought it second hand it's a high spec about 20 years old I'd say. A bad buy ,lessons learned etc . What sort of a bill would be normal for such a job.
Really anything over about 250 and I would think of scrapping her, but then I have spent so much on her already.
Really got burned on this one.
