basically ive been offerd a 1995 swb trooper 3.1 with doe until next march for very little money by a friend of a friend, now ive no real need of a 4x4 i suppose but im looking for any advice on what to look out for with these machines?
the current owner says its driving 100% but theres a few marks on the body, and it needs one battery , he said its got two.

and if i do decide to bring it on is thete any place around limerick, kerry, cork area where i could offroad it to get some use out of it??

Bullet proof mechanically. Engine should run forever and ever.

At that age you need to make sure the chassis and body work is in good order

Just make sure its not whining while you drive it, they had soft rear diffs. Otherwise bullitproof.

prone to rust on the chassis so give it a good look over, I've heard of a chassis snapping on one due to it being rottten
