I received a speeding fine and penalty points in the post, however stupidly I have let my provisional licence expire 2 years ago, what is the best action to take now. Should I pay the fine immediately but will I get in worse trouble as my licence is expired or should I only pay the fine when I get a New licence sorted, please help as im really bricking it now, thanks in advance.

don't worry just pay the fine now, even when your licence is out of date the points will be on the licence number, so when you get a new licence it will have the same number,

It's best that you get a new licence aswell.
