Is there much difference to driving an automatic Fiesta to a manual?

Are automatic cars in some way more difficult or less responsive. ?

A friend who has a fiesta like this enquired about a car like like this and was told it is difficult if used to driving a manual

Would it cost more to insure?

Autos in small cars are generally terrible and slow. The manual will definately feel lively, like anything new it takes time and practice to get used to. Also that 03 Fiesta is very expensive considering the year and mileage.

BTW, did your friend do his/her test in an auto or manual? If he/she did it in an auto then his/her licence only permits him/her to drive an auto car. Doing your test in a manual car allows you to drive both.

    manual

What cost should the auto be? All cars are expensive imo and not worth the dealer asking price

The auto box in the last fiesta is best avoided

Less responsive ? You can say that again.

Seriously though avoid the fiesta automatic. Unless your friend is going to drive it in simi-auto mode all the time, best advice I can give you :)

If you're any bit able to drive at all it's not "difficult" just different, and slower.
