I have just upgraded sky+ box to hd, previously volume level was fine at 10 or just below now it has to be set at 24 or so. Any ideas why this would occur. Upgrade box is s/h amstrad drx890 3d ready.
    Thanks

The HD box's volume output is set significantly lower than previous models, and theres no option to adjust it.

I know, I know I'm draging up an old thread, but it saves starting another new one for what is a related topic.

As well as the sound output being signifigantally down on the HD box in comparison to the original Sky+ box, has anyone noticed if the luminance level is lower as well? Picture on the small TV in kitchen (lcd) is just as was, but I have had to up the brightness level a fair bit on the big TV in lounge (crt).

Then when you go back to analogue, the brightness is far too high, and needs to be reset to previous level. Unless it's a scart based issue?
