iTunes 10.4.1.10 and Jailbroken iPhone 4 (4.3.3) issues

    Hi,

I'm having problems regarding my 4.3.3 Jailbroken iPhone 4 and the latest release of iTunes as of today, up to now all was fine. Initially I could not make a backup of my iPhone to my laptop, it kept prompting me to delete any older backups as something was corrupt (I did this and still recieved the same error message).

I then upgraded to the latest iTunes release to see if this would rectify the problem but the issue remained the same. Eventually a 1660 error message popped up, after which iTunes refused to recognise my iPhone and prompted me to make a fresh restore and allowing me no other alternatives - something which I don't want to do as I don't have any backups made at all therefore I'll lose any jailbroken tweaks and perks on my phone.

So, at this point iTunes won't recognise the iPhone 4 to allow me to sync music, make a backup etc yet my iPhone is functioning as per normal. Is there any way I can get iTunes to acknowledge it, or is there a way around this? Would reinstalling iTunes make any difference or is there any way I can manually pull a backup from my iPhone and integrate it with iTunes?

Thanks in advance for any info folks ;)

    J
