    Hey guys,

Usually get away to the Alps once or twice a season and was hoping to get a cheeky weekend from 27th to the 31st of October...

Wondering has anyone been away this early in the season before? And if so, what are the best locations?

I was thinking Kaprun or Zermatt????

    RSVP

Zermatt is flat as hell at the top especially on the glacier may not be so great for a boarder!

Hintertux is very lively around that time of the year and the conditions are normally pretty cracking. Tignes has allot on aswell and both have pretty good park set ups

Zermatt at the top is pretty much too flat for anyone, but if you can survive at the altitude then that may be good training for you.

    Nice view though.

Cheers guys, yeah Hinterlux and Tignes look do-able from Munich and Geneva respectively.

With a little snowfall it could be an awesome time to visit Tignes i.e. not too overcrowded!

Allot of companies do testings and specials on Glaciers at that time of the year! So you never know there may be allot going on then again it could be dead adn you have the place to yourself!

I have skied as early as the second and third week of Oct in Hintertux over the past few years and have been very happy with the skiing. In fact there is a dump of snow of 42 cm forecast for this weekend.
