Technomate 5400ci+ Updated Patches Foreign Satellite

    I have a Technomate 5400ci+

    Are there updated patches for this box that still unlock foreign channels?

    Have it lying idle since I got a DM800 and might start using it in another room.

    It will receive free channels. Anything else in Ireland needs an authentic subscription and viewing card.

    But if you are in Ireland, then Irish law applies. It's not just a copyright issue, but a criminal offence in Ireland to get pay TV channels in an unauthorised fashion. It's not relevant where they are coming from.

    This is true in most if not all of the EU.

    Without any "patching" the box will receive all the freely available Foreign channels.

    Note that even Sky1, Sky Sports are "Foreign TV" that just happen to be marketed here. The fact that a Foreign Pay Channel channel isn't marketed openly here doesn't make it fair game to hack.

    There is very little left that can be hacked with patches and softcams now anyway,, and even that is soon to end.
