When are Student Grants Paid out?

Hi, I got my letter a few weeks ago to say that my grant application has been successful. I just have to wait until I'm officially registered to get my form stamped and sent back. My question is when are the grants usually paid out by Dublin City Council?

It generally depends on what college you go to.

I've found that it takes 2-3 weeks after you send that form back to them. Also, considering it's paid into your bank account now, which bank you're with will determine how long it takes. I think Ulsterbank takes up to an extra 5 days when compared with AIB.

All I'd say is get that form filled out and sent back asap. It should hopefully mean you'd get your grant quicker. Waiting for the grant to come in can be a bit of a pain, and I think the way they used to do it, with giving out cheques, was much faster tbh.
