    Hi
I wonder if anybody can help me out. Im a IT student going into 4th year and I really do not want to complete my degree (yes it sounds stupid but its a long story). Anyway, I heard a rumour that if I leave now, having completed the 3 years, I would be awarded an ordinary level degree, is this a fact? Or would I leave with notthing.

when I started the degree it as a BSc honours degree level 8 accredited aswell

Pls dont move to the college forum

You should really check this with your college. Do you have a course coordinator you could discuss your options with?

This was the case when I was doing a science degree in Trinity (know someone who did it), but it could be different depending on your course and/or college.

Depends on the course! The one I am doing is a 3 and 4 year course. You can get an ordinary degree bsc after the 3 years and then an honours bsc after the 4th year! Most people have left after the 3 years and only a few have decided to stay for the 4th year.

I recommend checking with the college and see.
