    Ok so my friend has a 9.6 dunno what make..
    A Gun that im interested in is like 7.1 or 7.4 Lipo , is that better than the 9.6? and i have a stock battery for my thompson , will the charger off it work on the lipo? thanks

    Most 7.4v LiPos are roughly equivalent to 9.6v NiMh batteries so should be interchangeable, the only time you may have issues is with very high C-rated LiPos which could potentially cause some issue. The advantages aof LiPos are that they are generally smaller in size, they come in a large selection of C-ratings and they have a much longer charge-discharge lifecycle.

    DO NOT use a standard charger with LiPos, if you're going to make the switch invest in a decent balance charger like the iMax B6. Charging the LiPo will be much safer and the battery will end up lasting longer if it is charged correctly.

    I have a 1200mah NiMh 1.2v charger. will dat work with lipo
