Independent Financial Advisor - Galway Area?

    i was looking for an independent financial advisor in the Galway area?

    Anybody know of any really competent ones that they would recommend?

    Can I bump this as well?
    Even to ask if they exist and how I would look them up.
    I wouldn't limit myself to the Galway area but I would need to know that they were entirely independent if I was to pay for advice.

    Actually a good point. As long as the IFA is a excellent it doesn't matter where they are based.

    Any boardies got some good recommendations?

    i was told before that there is no such thing as an totally independent financial advisor that they all have some vested interests. is this true?

    Can anyone recommend similiar in the Dublin area?

    Fees for above seem very expensive, is that standard?
