Which type flue should be installed??

    Hi all,
    well ive narrowed it down to an 8kw stovax riva type inset stove. Question is, which type of flue liner should i use. I want good quality grade which will last my lifetime^^^ .Also how much should I expect to pay to get it and have it installed by a qualified bloke?

    I have a Stovax Riva 66 multifuel inset stove in my house.Its an 8kw stove.Great bit of kit.

    6 inch twin walled stainless steel liner is the way to go.:)

    hawkelady, it has to be a liner suitable for solid fuel and the person installing the stove will be best able to advise you.

    If you are burning mostly coal or smokeless fuel buy a 904 grade stainless steel liner. It is a much better grade than 316 and is far more suited to solid fuel use.

    As regards to price here I have no idea.
