currently have an open vented system but in next couple weeks will be moving tank and might consider a pressurised system, what are the pros and cons of them? as far as i know the header tank will no longer be required does that be removed completely then?

Have a read through this link and note the poster prefers an open vented system.

Even after reading the link I still prefer a sealed pressurized system. The only problem with pressurizing an old system is as the link says minor leaks.
The link says that the open system is better for keeping the system full of water even if there is minor leaks. If a system has any kind of a leak or looses pressure it is faulty and must be repaired, this would be done quicker with a sealed system due to the nuisance of pressure loss and the system not working.
My experience is that people leave open system's to them selves until it is too late and corrosion has set in due to constant topping up by the F&E tank.
