    You don't really need to pay to get it unlocked, have a look at this thread. You can do it yourself, not too hard.

    You'd be paying for nothing. They'll jailbreak it, or something similar, but they won't be able to officially unlock the phone. Only networks do that. And the next time you update your iPhone software you'll have to do the whole thing again.

    I unlock phones all the time and my question is why would you update your phone after you paying someone good money to put the phone in an unlocked state.

    Most of the time the software you are running is only a couple of updates behind what apple has released, and as everyone knows apple only releases updates to prevent people jb, so why update???

    As for the iphone 4 unlock Gevey sim is prob the only way he will be able to unlock, but we can unlock lots of iphones from other countries offically through iTunes but its not cheap twice to three times the price of a gevey sim
