Going to be closing my account tomorrow. Havent used it since I got my Visa Debit from Ulster Bank.

Had an awful lot of trouble closing my account with a similar bunch. Payzone Money. Hopefully this will go smoother.

Time to move to the O2 Money Card I think. Have been putting it off solely for the fact it costs a fiver for the card itself.

I'm gone also. The 20e option was handy enough. Time to find something a little more competitive..

Well, since the €20 voucher is being stopped, i don't see myself using them anymore, i'm not going paying €2.50 to load it up when i'm only going making small purchases for some games off Steam and boards subscription. Just have to use up the remaining cash on the vouchers and then i'll most likely get a credit card. Charges seem a lot easier to understand than all this!

while 3v is handy ,its such a sham . anything under 5 euro you cant transfer back to your bank and anything under 250 you cant transfer to another voucher .so they just keep that money .how can they justify €5 for me to go online and transfer funds from a voucher that i paid for and that i am doing the work redeeming it .thinking of closing my account now

Only amounts over €5 as there is a fee for doing it.

you are right yes, sorry . i am leaving 3v anyway. Taking the 20 euro voucher is the last straw.

I agree Paypal is just as handy, seeing as you can transfer funds to and from your account for free. Pity though the number of Retailers that support it are limited.

Much easier imo, instant and no going to shops to buy vouchers, just bing bang job done :)

How do you close 3 v account? Has the card to be returned?

    Just stop using it.

3v are frustrating. Topping up by 20Euro is handy but anything after that isn't worth it, and if you're connecting it with Paypal you loose a euro and don't get it back for 10 days and then you can't use it!

they are a joke how any one still uses them i dont know they are better options out there.
id say 3V will not be round for too long more the opposition are miles ahead.
