Try your local recycling centre on Saturdays or public holidays. I enquired about a decent looking MTB I saw in a skip and I was told to take what I wanted before it was crushed.

I have an old Eurotrek out the front of my house you can have. In D9. It's pretty bad though. I couldn't much more off it.

    Hi,
Have you tried any of the universities/colleges?? I work in UL from time to time and they have/had a huge selection of bikes in various states of repair/disrepair, they were locked up at bike stands and for one reason or other weren't claimed, usually at the end of year, they get claimed by the clubs/societies guys who have a work shop set up. Worth a look, I'm sure the Dublin universities have something similar, best of luck
