    Hi,

I'm building a new house soon and looking to get a solid fuel range. I dont have a clue about which are the best types..Stanley, Aga etc..

Would appreciate feedback from anyone that has a solid fuel range...

    Hi,

Aga solid fuel cookers only do hot water.

Rayburn, Stanley do heating and hot water.

If I was going for a solid fuel cooker I would probably buy Warmsler. They are german. People say that compared to a Rayburn the warmsler is much more efficient and a bit cheaper, but mostly steel.

I thought about buying a solid fuel cooker for my house but decided against it as on most you can't see the fire. I ended up fitting a electric hob and oven and fitting a multifuel boiler stove in the Living Room instead.
