I just applied for the December exams. I applied for the Irish variants thinking that I'd need the Irish variant to get certified for practice later on. Am I right in thinking this or should I have gone for the international version?

Secondly for distance learning material, do i have to get an irish version of it?

    Help much appreciated :)

F7 you'll be fine with the UK version as our GAAP is the same as theirs. Kaplan actually publish UK and International in one volume.

F6 tax - BPP publish an IRE variant but the most recent edition was riddled with errors and had not been updated for the change in syllabus announced the year before. They charge €125 for the kit and have been entirely unsatisfactory in responding to those of us who purchased it for June.

In order to get an Audit Cert you need to take the Irish variant of F7 and P2. Otherwise you can take the International variant.
