    Hey,

Just wondering if there are any courses for those who are unemployed, with no qualifications?

I know about Fás and BlueBrick. Just wondered if there were any others? Preferably courses that are free/not too expensive.

    I'm in the Mullingar area.

    Thanks.

I don't know any but if you said what type of course you would be interested you would get better advice.

    Hey,

To be honest, I would do anything.

I'd love a course that does work placements, but a lot of courses (on Fás anyway) you need some qualification/experience, neither of which I have.

Anything do to with office, admin, hotel (reception etc), waitress,, retail etc would be good.

I just need something to do.

Assortment here. With VTOS (although likely to be too late for starting this year) you hold onto social welfare payment but you need to check out if that's so with other courses linked.

Unless your willing to lay I'd say vtos or fas are your only options really...Although fas are soon to be stopping any courses that lead into construction so the new courses coming online will be more focused on getting people employed not a waste of time course like health and safety or bricklaying etc etc
