Has anyone any info on this race for Sunday ? The cylcling Ireland website has nothing, as usual (appart from the calendar) and Castlebar CC website has no details either. Times, sign on, route ? Is it even on ?
Poor showing from Cycling Ireland to promote a National Championship !

I spoke to the race organiser last week . He was rather vauge regarding the course , said it was flattish with a wee hill up to the finish . Only had around 30 pre entries . I dont know if I can justify a 400km round trip for this race at the backend of the season. As the OP has stated , poor show in relation to promoting this event .

Did the B championships a few years ago up in Donegal , race was run by Carl Fullerton of the North Pole club and it was a mighty event . Hard course for a hard days racing. The catering at the finish was top rate .
Championship races should only be staged at a challenging course.
