Different fabric I think. Test version is likely tighter as well.

I'm going to buy the new Irish jersey this week but saw that there are two different types, a home version and a test version. Can anyone tell me what the difference is besides the price.

    Link to both jerseys.

The fit is different, and possibly the material too. The test jersey is a similar fit to what is worn by the players, whereas the other one is more of a ... let's call it "relaxed" fit....

Test jersey is €30 more but it definately looks like it "fits" better, the cheaper one looks like an empty coal sack.

Yeah, one of them is almost plastic like.

OP you should try and head into a bricks and mortar shop to check them out.

Test jersey is unlikely to look good if you have more of a eh...prop build though.

I've been looking for the test one for a few weeks and have yet to see one in the flesh. The cheaper one looks absolutely rubbish beside it.

I got my test version in the post this morning.

I quite like it. I'll see how i go in it at training tomorrow night but i imagine it will be good for wet winter nights.

The Pro version didn't appeal to me at all.

The test version works if you've the body of a adonis not the body of buddah;)

I got the test version yesterday in a medium and the fit is pretty tight.
I have the prevous puma test jersey in a medium too and that fits perfectly, its fitted but not over the top.

Id get away with it wearing tracksuit bottoms or training but with not in local pub wearing jeans which is what I wanted it for more.

Advice, If you took a medium in the old test kit get a large in the new kit.
